2021 was a year for the books for David and I both. We traveled more together, we grew closer to God individually and as a couple, we got engaged, planned a beautiful wedding + got married. We each have so much to be grateful for this year. The blessings that were poured onto us were unlike anything I could have ever imagined and to even begin to express how grateful I am, feels next to impossible. However, I know this won’t always be the case. There will be years that come that are full of heartache, loss, a feeling of defeat and I know just from looking through my IG stories over the last few days, a lot of people are feeling those things as we head into 2022. I also know being on that side makes it hard to clap for your friends that are celebrating big things. It makes it hard to have faith and hold onto hope but I can assure you, fix your eyes on God and in time, the weight will be lifted and you’ll start noticing more good than bad. The clouds will fade and the sun will shine a little brighter. God doesn’t promise a perfect life but He does promise He will always be with you, you just have to have faith and seek Him.
